2020 defensive back puts West Virginia in Top 8, sets visit date

This morning class of 2020 defensive back Buddy Mack of Duncan, South Carolina took to Twitter to release his top list of schools. As you see below, the Mountaineers made the cut along with in-state foe Marshall and rival Pittsburgh.

Mack visited West Virginia back in March and he also informed me that he will make his return trip to Morgantown on July 25th. Mack, however, will not participate at the Showtime Camp so he can stay healthy for his senior season.

When asked on what stood out about West Virginia Mack replied, “They have a great academic set up for the athletes and their strength and conditioning program sounds amazing.” The relationship with assistant Xavier Dye runs deep clear back to when Mack was in middle school and Dye was a graduate assistant at Clemson. “Coach Dye and I are really close due to him playing for my high school, but I feel all the coaches that are recruiting me have equal relationships.” Mack added.

Mack does not have a decision date set as of this moment.
