2020 LB Jax McCauley Joins WVU as a Preferred Walk-On
Jax McCauley, a 2020 inside linebacker prospect from Austin, Texas, announced on Twitter Wednesday that he would continue his academic and athletic careers at West Virginia University as a preferred walk-on.

The 6-foot-0, 207-pound McCauley received the offer from the WVU coaching staff this past November.

According to Keenan Cummings of WV Sports Dot Com, McCauley’s father played for the Mountaineers in the early 1990’s.
The younger McCauley racked up 176 tackles in 2019 and was a two-time 6A all-state player in Texas.
McCauley is not rated by 247Sports or Rivals.
