A four-star class of 2025 recruit will be making an unofficial visit to Morgantown this Sunday. This will give the WVU football staff a chance to build an early relationship with the top prospect out of Ohio.

Dawayne Galloway Jr. (6-foot-1 and 175 pounds) posted about his upcoming trip on X (Twitter) on Wednesday morning. He then relied to a series of posts from other 2025 recruits about how he will also be in town.

Galloway, viewed as both a cornerback and an athlete, attends Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. He scored three touchdowns and made five interceptions during his 2023 high school season.

Galloway is regarded as a consensus four-star player and ranked among top 10 best in his class by every major recruiting outlet.

West Virginia is hoping to impress Galloway when he’s on campus, but has tons of competition for such a highly coveted recruit. Galloway has already received 28 offers from Division I schools. Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee and Wisconsin are just some of the major brands interested in Galloway.
