Morgantown, WV – Head coach Dana Holgorsen announced to the media today that freshman tight end Mike O’Laughlin (ankle) and freshman wide receiver Dillon Spalding (knee) have been ruled out for the season.

Both players recently underwent successful surgery then went home to recover for a few days and they will return this week to be with the team.

Spalding was a 3-star recruit out of Lorton, Virginia who chose the Mountaineers over Michigan. O’Laughlin, who is from Fenwick, Illinois, chose West Virginia over a number of Big 10 schools.
