BREAKING: Leddie Brown is Officially Cleared to Play

Morgantown, WV – This afternoon, some good news came from Mountaineer head coach Neal Brown as he announced that sophomore running back Leddie Brown has been cleared to play and will be available this week against North Carolina State.

“We get Leddie back today. He’s a physical guy and that’s what we need help with right now,” Coach Brown stated. “We lack some toughness right now and Leddie is a physical back. I know that I don’t have to worry about him being physical,” he added.

Brown missed the first two games of the season due to an ankle injury. Last year as a true freshman, he rushed for 446 yards on 91 carries including four touchdowns. Expect Brown to be a critical part of the offense this Saturday as he brings the most toughness and physicality out of the backfield.
