Coaches Poll thinks highly of Press Virginia

The Mountaineers men’s basketball team returns a veteran backcourt in 2017-18 with seniors Jevon Carter and Daxter Miles Jr. There is no doubt these guys will be the leaders of this years team, and they are believed to be one of the best duos in the country. With that being said, the preseason Coaches Poll was released today and the Mountaineers checked in at No.10. Coach Huggins’ squad is coming off of a Sweet 16 appearance a year ago and had a heartbreaking loss to Gonzaga.

There is plenty of excitement surrounding this season including key matchups with Kentucky and Virginia at home and the return of the Backyard Brawl in Pittsburgh. The team has gained the nation’s attenion, let’s see if they can make a deep run in March/April.
