ESPN’s Desmond Howard has West Virginia in College Football Playoff

This morning on ESPN’s College Gameday, analyst Desmond Howard made a bold prediction that West Virginia would win the Big 12 Championship over Oklahoma and would also make the College Football Playoff. Howard has the Mountaineers slated vs Michigan in the semifinals, where he believes the season will end for Holgorsen’s group.

“Everyone is going to be talking about Oklahoma, but I’m going to go with Will Grier and West Virginia.” he said.

Boy, talk about a match up. How about the khakis vs the red bull chuggin’ wild hair man Dana Holgorsen? If Howard is correct on this prediction it could easily be the most entertaining playoff game in the brief history of the playoff system.
