MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — The WVU Coliseum was an electric atmosphere Saturday night with the first-ever LED light show in front of a sold out Mountaineer crowd.

WVU’s men’s basketball team defeated Utah 72 to 61, the Utes first game in Morgantown and the first game for former WVU head coach Josh Eilert on the other side.

The night also celebrated the coal mining industry, wearing the Coal Rush jerseys in front of the crowd of 13,166.

West Virginia returns home Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. to take on BYU. Relive Saturday’s festivities through these photos by WVSN photographer Kelsie LeRose.
