BREAKING: Henry Commits to WVU

Published

on

La’Darius Henry has committed to the Mountaineers. After attending camp this weekend, Henry felt confident enough to verbally commit to WVU.

Henry decommitted from USF on March 26th to further explore his options.

The 6’3″ 185 pound cornerback from St. Petersburg, FL held 20 total offers, choosing the Mountaineers over USF, Oregon, UCF, FAU, Florida, and Iowa State.

Henry is a three-star recruit and the 124th ranked player in the state of Florida. He was recruited by Marquel Blackwell and Matt Caponi.

Henry will bring a deadly combination of size and speed to the WVU secondary.

He is the second commit of the day, following in-state recruit Kerry Martin Jr. of Charleston.
