PITTSBURGH, Pa – The rosters are set and it’s time to brawl for West Virginia in Pittsburgh. As far as who will be out on the field at Acrisure Stadium, only linebacker Tirek Austin-Cave and defensive lineman Jalen Thornton are notable Mountaineers listed as inactive for the game.

Austin-Cave transferred to WVU from Miami in May while Thornton is a redshirt sophomore. Thornton played in 12 games last season, seeing action in 72 plays. His most notable game was against Baylor, being involved in 23 plays.

At this point, it’s about who will be out there. And WVU fans were finally told who the starting quarterback would be during Neal Brown’s press conference on Monday.
