Joe Toussaint in for Keddy Johnson Against No. 3 Kansas

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU G Joe Toussaint is in the starting lineup, replacing Kedrian Johnson who suffered a concussion earlier in the week. Saturday marks Toussaint’s first start for the Mountaineers.

Toussaint is starting with Erik Stevenson, Emmitt Matthews, Tre Mitchell and Jimmy Bell.

WVU head coach Bob Huggins said on his radio show that the team will run with Joe Toussaint, Kobe Johnson and possibly Josiah Davis at the point guard position.

Toussaint is averaging 9.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists through 14 games with WVU. The Iowa transfer is shooting 40 percent from the field and 31 percent from three.

West Virginia will host No. 3 Kansas on Saturday at the WVU Coliseum. ESPN+ is carrying the broadcast set to begin at 6 p.m.
