JUCO Conference DPOY Darius Wiley Picks WVU Football Over Several Other P4s
The WVU football program added yet another junior college recruit late on Friday night. Pass rusher Darius Wiley submitted his national letter of intent to move to West Virginia after a stellar 2025 season at Hutchinson Community College.
Wiley was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Defensive Player of the Year, totaling 49 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks.

After redshirting during his freshman year, Wiley now has at least three years of eligibility remaining.
Wiley ended up picking WVU over offers from a myriad of schools, including a few other Power Four programs. Arkansas, Boise State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville State, Marshall, Michigan State, Murray State, Old Dominion, Sacramento State, Syracuse, Texas State, Toledo, and Western Michigan all extended an offer to Wiley.
