Max Wilcox, 2025 In-State Prospect, Visits WVU Basketball
WVU basketball is going after even more in-state talent this signing period as the Mountaineers hosted Max Wilcox for an unofficial visit last month.
Wilcox is a class of 2025 guard from Charleston Catholic High School in W.Va.
Thank you to @Coach_DeVries and @WVUCoachFrazier for inviting me to Morgantown last month. I had a great time learning about the program. Letโs go Mountaineers! pic.twitter.com/MPSatB17N2

Max Wilcox (6-foot-3, 165 pounds) and Charleston Catholic are coming off of winning the W.Va. Class AA State Championship last season. He was named second-team all-state and second-team all-tournament as a junior.
Wilcox is unrated by 247 Sports. He previously had an unofficial visit with Marshall.
WVU has already signed the top 2025 in-state recruit Braydon Hawthorne.
Hawthorne, a 6-foot-9, 195-pound guard/forward, from Beckley, W.Va., is considered the top prospect in West Virginia for the class of 2025 by most major recruiting outlets.
