New ‘Coal Rush’ Black Uniform Sparks Big Reaction Among WVU Fans

Just as expected, the revealing of West Virginia’s new “Coal Rush” black uniforms sparked a big reaction across social media among WVU fans.

The reaction has been polarizing. Some love them while others voiced complaints, mostly about wanting the school’s colors of gold and blue involved.

I gotta admit, being the son of a coal miner, that gave me chills. I love our colors, not many days that I don’t have them on but those black uniforms are awesome!!! I’m one of those older fans you speak of, my dad has passed away but he would’ve loved these uniforms also!!
