New Jersey Defensive Back get an Offer from the Mountaineers

Published

West Virginia went into the Garden State to offer Camden, New Jersey cornerback Donald Williams (6’1″ 180-lbs) from Camden High. Donald was happily surprised by the offer from Coach Mark Scott right before track practice. Williams thinks the WVU program is great and plans to visit Morgantown in the spring to watch practice and meet the coaches. He is definitely considering playing in the Big XII.

Donald is a hard hitting corner, with good coverage skills too. Good speed, good hands and can stuff the runner in the backfield or go up and get the ball.

He molds his game around Jalen Ramsey and Marshon Lattimore. A Mountaineer player that sticks out to him is Karl Joseph.

For this upcoming season Williams wants to perfect his craft thoroughly, making sure he can get out of his breaks as fast as possible for every single rep up and down. He wants to also get more interceptions.

What matters the most to Donald in choosing a school is the academics and the quality of work hell get from the position coaches. Distance does matter to him, as he doesn’t want to go to far away from home.

He doesn’t have a top list of schools or a decision date as of yet
