Night Kick in Lawrence, Kansas for WVU’s Final Regular-Season Game of 2021
The 2021 WVU football team finally got a night game. Unfortunately, it’s not in front of the home crowd.
The Big 12 Conference announced times and networks for its slate of Nov. 27 games, which includes Texas Tech vs. No. 11 Baylor, West Virginia vs. Kansas, and a top-15 Bedlam matchup.
🚨 Kick times and TV networks for #Big12FB on 11/27
Texas Tech at Baylor, 11am CT on FS1
West Virginia at Kansas, 6pm CT/ 7pm ET on FS1

The 4-6 Mountaineers will face the 2-8 Jayhawks at 7 p.m. on FS1 at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium for the regular season wrap-up. Although Kansas has been historically an easy win for Big 12 opponents, a 57-56 win over the Texas Longhorns last Saturday is cause for concern for this struggling WVU team.
Historically, West Virginia has only lost once to the Jayhawks: 2013; now, a 10th series win is a Mountaineer must on Thanksgiving weekend.

If WVU can win at home next week against Texas and Kansas can add a ninth loss against TCU on the road, this matchup may be a bright spot to finish the WVU season at 6-6. If even one of these games falls out of favor for the Mountaineers though, they’ll miss bowl contention and end the regular season either 4-8 or 5-7.
