Tipoff Time, Broadcast Info Announced for WVU’s Second-Round Matchup with Syracuse

No. 3 seed West Virginia and No. 11 seed Syracuse will tip-off at 5:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon from Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a second-round NCAA tournament matchup between the Mountaineers and the Orange.

Syracuse defeated No. 6 seed San Diego State 78-62 Friday evening to advance to the second round. In the final game of the day, West Virginia defeated No. 14 seed Morehead State 84-67 to advance to the matchup with the Orange.

This will be the teams’ first meeting since they were both in the Big East Conference in 2012. WVU and Syracuse regularly saw one another each year from 1996-2012 as Big East foes.

Tip-off time will be at 5:15 p.m. EST and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
