With the 2018 recruiting class beginning to take shape, the Mountaineers are still awaiting a decision from safety Kwantel Raines out of Aliquippa, PA.

Raines took to Twitter earlier this week, stating that he will be making his decision this upcoming Monday at 7 p.m. at the Aliquippa City Building. The coveted 4-star prospect will be choosing between Florida, Pittsburgh, Penn State and West Virginia.

The Mountaineers have had a lot of success recruiting Western Pennsylvania over the years, including current Mountaineer safety Dravon Askew-Henry (Aliquippa) and current commits James Gmiter (Bethel Park) and T.J. Banks (East Allegheny).

Raines will be in Morgantown this weekend for the Oklahoma State game before committing on Monday. Mountaineers fans should feel really, really good about its chances to land this blue-chip prospect.
