Following a slow start at home against Oklahoma State on Saturday, WVU basketball found its rhythm and built up a lead.

Only leading by four after nine minutes of play, the home crowd hadn’t had much to cheer about early on in the game. All of a sudden, however, WVU hit four straight three-pointers to pull ahead.

A steal and fastbreak dunk by Javon Small pushed WVU’s lead to 20 and ignited the fans inside the Coliseum. It was part of a 22-1 run by the Mountaineers that put them up comfortably over the Cowboys.

WVU maintained its 20-point lead through the rest of the first half, leading X-X at halftime.
