Watch: WVU Product Chase Wilson Records First NFL Sack
In the third quarter of the New York Jets’ second preseason game, WVU product Chase Wilson picked up his first NFL sack.
Wilson, who signed with the Jets after the conclusion of April’s NFL Draft, brought down fellow rookie and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks Drew Allar.
In his lone season as a Mountaineer in 2025, Wilson recorded 46 total tackles, 4,5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, two pass deflections and two interceptions in 11 games.
Wilson spent five seasons at Colorado State before transferring to WVU.
