Even after signing the largest recruiting class in WVU Football history, Rich Rodriguez hinted at adding a few more players ahead of February’s National Signing Day.

On Friday, a West Virginia native became one of those new recruits for the 2026 class. Brad Mossor, an athlete out of Princeton High School, announced he’s committing to WVU. His commitment came hours after he received an offer from the Mountaineers.

Mossor was named the West Virginia State Player of the Year for 2025 after a strong senior season that saw him dominate in multiple positions. Mosser, who opened the season as a receiver and then moved to running back, recorded 914 yards on the ground as a running back and then made 93 catches for 1,512.

But his yardage isn’t what made him standout. Mossor scored 49 total touchdowns, with 28 as a runner, 14 receiving and then another seven from work on special teams or defense.
