Wide Receiver from Georgia Receives Offer

Published

on

West Virginia Universtiy cornerbacks coach Doug Belk offered Stone Mountain Georgia (Stephson HS) wide receiver Deshon Stoudemire. He was very excited by the offer, saying “That’s a school I wouldn’t mind going too”.

His thoughts on the program were “I think they are on their way to the top. I can see them building.”

Deshon is a great route runner with great footwork, using his quickness to get open and has breakaway speed. He has good awareness and can read the defense to find the open spot in the secondary.

Deshon doesn’t mold his game around anyone, saying he is his own favorite player, although he likes watching a lot of receivers like Odell Beckham and Antonio Brown.

The player that sticks out to him from WVU is Tavon Austin.

Deshon’s goals for this upcoming season are to lead his team to the dome, where the Georgia High School Football State Championship is held.

Stoudemire does not have a top list of schools and does not know when he is going to commit at the moment..

Deshon plans to visit Morgantown in the spring.
