For the first time this season, West Virginia women’s soccer should have some fans in attendance when the Mountaineers take on Kansas Friday.

Announced Tuesday, WVU will allow up to 25% capacity into Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium for Friday’s home match. This will allow there to be approximately 400 fans to be in attendance.

WVU has switched to mobile ticketing for this season, meaning fans will need to make use of their smartphones to download and store tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase in advance.

Stadium seats will be socially distanced, identified by stickers placed on the bleachers. Fans will be required to wear facemasks at all times.

The Kansas match will be the Mountaineers’ home finale for the fall portion of their schedule. A spring schedule has not yet been announced but is expected to be played.

WVU is 6-1 this season, currently riding a four-game winning streak.
