WVU 2022 Signee Josiah Harris Advances in State Playoffs

NORTON, OHIO – West Virginia basketball signee Josiah Harris won the OHSAA District Title on Friday night, as Richmond Heights defeated Cornerstone Christian, 83-63.
Harris, a 6-foot-7 forward, finished with 22 points, with 12 of those coming in the first quarter. The class of 2022 signee has been dealing with a sprained ankle over the last few weeks, but played the majority of Friday’s game.
“I still need to get my wind back, I’m not at tip-top shape right now,” Harris said after the game. “Anything that I can do to help my brothers out and get the win.”
Richmond Heights is now just four wins away from winning the Division IV State Championship in the state of Ohio.
“It’s a blessing,” Harris said. “Next goal is to take down regionals.”
Before West Virginia says goodbye to the seniors, I’m making a quick stop to Akron to watch 2022 signee Josiah Harris tonight.
