Lyons, a two-time WVU graduate, has been at the helm of WVU athletics since 2015 and has succeeded at leading the Mountaineers in the Big 12 since. He has overseen numerous projects to bolster WVU athletics presently and set the program up for success down the line.
His next task will be to navigate the upcoming realignment craze in collegiate athletics and steer WVU toward continued success. He has obviously given no hint that he is considering leaving WVU for Missouri.
