MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – As the West Virginia men’s basketball team returns from South Carolina this week, they’ll be giving back to the community for Thanksgiving.

On Wednesday, the team will go to the Salvation Army and give out food and help out.

Stephaine White, the Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development and Enhancement, set up this event for the basketball team to give back and get valuable time off the court.

“Our guys have enjoyed it,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said. “They did feel good about going out into the community and helping out the community. They like being around each other, which is a plus.”
