MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — During his press conference Tuesday afternoon, head coach Neal Brown revealed several players could be missing in this weekend’s game against Texas Tech.

Brown announced that linebacker Quondarius Qualls had surgery and will miss the rest of the season. Linebacker Josh Chandler is questionable to play against Texas Tech after missing last week’s game. Jared Bartlett and Dylan Tonkery filled in for Qualls and Chandler against Baylor.

Kicker Evan Staley was injured early last week and did not play against Baylor and is questionable for Saturday. Freshman Casey Legg will continue to handle kicking duties.

Running Back Kennedy McKoy, safety Noah Guzman, receiver T.J. Simmons and guard Chase Behrndt were all injured during the game against Baylor. McKoy and Guzman are questionable, Simmons is doubtful and Behrndt will play.

Receiver Sean Ryan is progressing but not yet ready for contact, according to Brown, and will be out this week. Tight end Jovani Haskins has been dealing with a back injury and is now fully healed. Junior corner Dreshun Miller is improving as well, but will not play Saturday.
