WVU Fans Erupt in Anger Over Being Left Out of NCAA Tournament

Saying WVU fans are angry about West Virginia not making the NCAA Tournament is an understatement. The committee leaving the Mountaineers out, especially taking into account the reasoning provided for selecting North Carolina over WVU, has left many members of Mountaineer Nation hurt and confused.
The comments below just show a small glimpse of the reaction.
I mean, Iโm no conspiracy theorist. But if you wonder why people from West Virginia have an inferiority complex and a chip on their shoulder, look no further than the snub of the WVU basketball team from the NCAA tournament.
This is why they think the world is out to get them.

I know Iโm bias as a WVU fan, but I donโt think Iโve ever seen the college basketball community so unified as it is right now opposing the committeeโs decision to add UNC to the field over WVU and others. https://t.co/F3r4fTYv1a

They played their entire B12 schedule without Tucker. Horrendous excuse.

Bingo, it means the committee wrote WVU off in essence. we aren't talking about lossing someone in the last month or during conference tournament, this team without Tucker played good enough to get in

WVU Men's Basketball MISSES the NCAA Tournament.
Shocking.

Never cared much about UNC…
WVU is 5-0 against them all time in basketball and we bitch slapped them multiple times in their own backyard in football bowl games.
Will root against them for eternity now.

Might as well have called it a year, Mike. Pretty wild Q1 wins kept our guys outta the dance

Everyone that took part in the selection process needs to be fired and kept away from college basketball for ever. Itโs not just WVU, honestly the worst bracket Iโve ever seen.
