The WVU football staff kicked off the new week by looking at a wide receiver in a familiar place. On Monday, West Virginia sent an offer to Dawson Quarterman, a three-star wide out of Georgia.

As the Mountaineers continue to look for talent in Georgia, 2026 prospect Quarterman adds WVU to his growing list of offers that already includes Colorado, JMU, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Temple, Tulane, USF among others.

WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett reached out to Quarterman with the offer. He also received recent offers from East Carolina and FAU.

After starting his high school career in Florida, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Quarterman now attends Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga.

Both ESPN and 247 Sports have Quarterman ranked as a three-star player.
