WVU Football Looks to Future of QB Position, Offers 2026 3-Star
Recruiting is never just about the next class of prospects, but also what’s out there in the years to come. This is especially true when looking at the future of key positions on the WVU football team, most notably quarterback.
On Monday, West Virginia extended an offer to three-star quarterback recruit Jackson Presley. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Presley is a Glacier High School product out of Kalispell, Mont. Presley thanked WVU quarterbacks coach Tyler Allen among others in his post on X (Twitter) with the offer.
AGTG! After a great conversation with @CoachTylerAllen I’m blessed to have received an offer from West Virginia University! @WVUfootball @TGurley81 @baylintrujillo @3dqb_SoCal @QBHitList @GregBiggins @adamgorney @BrandonHuffman @247Sports @ghs_wolfpack_fb pic.twitter.com/QDPviprlwd

Even though Presley hails from a place not known for churning out top quarterbacks, his success in high school is already catching the attention of major programs across the country.
Presley threw for 3,052 yards, completed 66% of his passes, threw 28 passing touchdowns, added four more scores on the ground and only threw four interceptions during his 2023 season.
WVU now joins a list of schools after Presley that includes Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Missouri and Texas A&M.
