The WVU football program officially signed another transfer player on Tuesday, inking former Villanova linebacker Jason Hall Jr.

This comes after Hall announced his commitment on Jan. 18.

In 2025, Hall, listed at 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds, totaled 40 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks as a redshirt sophomore. He appeared in 14 games as a reserve linebacker in 2024, recording four tackles and a forced fumble.

Hall will transfer despite not publicly revealing his intentions to enter the portal.

A native of Fall River, Mass., Hall earned All-State honors as a star on both sides of the ball at Suffield Academy. Hall rushed for 1,180 yards and scored 16 touchdowns in just five games as a senior.
