WVU Football to Have Special Logo on Helmet for Military Appreciation Day
Saturday will mark the first home game for WVU football in about a month. And a return to Milan Puskar Stadium means showing up in style.
West Virginia will wear a gold on blue on gold look as their uniform combination when the Mountaineers host Baylor in a pivotal Big 12 game.
This uniform has a gold helmet, blue jersey and gold pants with a special logo for the National Guard on Military Appreciation Day on the helmet.

After an ugly game full of turnovers, WVU left Cincinnati with a victory and another conference road win. And now looking to keep building on a win streak, West Virginia opened the new week with a couple major sportsbooks offering interesting lines for the upcoming matchup against Baylor.
A win is a win, but WVU head coach Neal Brown still left Cincinnati disappointed with one key aspect of his team. West Virginia beat the Bearcats on Saturday afternoon, 31-24, but the big number on the scoreboard was thanks to multiple defensive touchdowns, not an offensive showing to be proud of.
Even while being happy about holding on for the win, Brown couldnโt ignore the noticeable struggles on the offensive side of the ball. A couple weeks after Nicco Marchiol performed admirably in Arizona, he was only able to total 174 yards against Cincinnati.
Marchiol completed 9-of-15 passes for 156 yards through the air and then added 18 yards on the ground. It also took until the final minutes of the first half for the WVU offense to find the end zone, granted that came after a pick-6 from earlier in the game.
Despite refusing to elaborate on which quarterback has the edge at the start of the week, Brown did reveal that Garrett Greene practiced on Monday and was able to throw effectively. He also said that he needs see Greene take part in 11-on-11 work before being able to deem him a viable option.
Conversely, Baylor will enter the game off of a bye. The Bears are riding a win streak of their own, a three-game streak over Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and TCU.
West Virginia at 5-4 (4-2, Big 12) and Baylor 5-4 (3-3, Big 12) will kickoff from Milan Puskar Stadium at 4 pm ET on Saturday, Nov 16.
