2021 WR Receives First Offer From WVU

New West Virginia assistant coach Al Pogue has gotten off to a hot start, offering 2021 Phenix City (AL) wide receiver Jackson Meeks.

The Mountaineers were the first to extend an offer to the 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect and the idea of playing in the Big 12 has struck a cord with Meeks.

“It would be amazing to play in the Big 12. Great competition,” Meeks told DubVNation.

Being two years out from making a college decision, Meeks does not have a top-five at this time but stated that a potential school’s “vibe” and “academics” will be key factors when the time comes. And when it comes to West Virginia’s heritage, Meeks told us he loves the tradition of Country Roads and his favorite player for the Mountaineers is Tavon Austin.

As for now, the Alabama burner is focused on winning another state championship and further improving his speed.
