Davis is an in-state kid, originally from Canada. The 6-foot-1 guard plays at Teays Valley High School, as he looks to begin his senior season.
Davis committed to West Virginia back in February.
“I really feel like the playstyle fits me best,” Davis told Sportsline. “Everybody can put the basketball in the hoop. One of the biggest things you can do is sit down and play defense. I’m a defensive type of guy, I love to get energetic on the defensive end and then go score on them on the offense side.”
Make that 2-out-of-3 2022 commits signing their letters of intent for West Virginia. On Tuesday, JUCO commit Patrick Suemnick announced that he would be signing with West Virginia on Wednesday as well. The last commit the Mountaineers are waiting on to make it official is F Josiah Harris.
My HEART🥺💙 when people ask why West Virginia is so special… THIS is why.
