Davis (6-foot-3) is a native Canadian who came to TVCS as a sophomore. WVU was the first and only power-five program to offer Davis. Davis is WVU’s first commitment in the 2022 recruiting class.
Daivs told Sportsline that one of the biggest factors for committing to WVU was the Mountaineers’ playstyle.
“I really feel like the playstyle fits me best,” Davis said. “Everybody can put the basketball in the hoop. One of the biggest things you can do is sit down and play defense. I’m a defensive type of guy, I love to get energetic on the defensive end and then go score on them on the offense side.”
