He’s made his choice and it’s the West Virginia Mountaineers for 4-star wide receiver Traylon Ray.

The coveted wide receiver announced on Tuesday of this week that he would make his final decision on Friday afternoon. Ray was also considering Tennessee and Mississippi State in his top 3. Ray tweeted his commitment to WVU in a tweet with a graphic.

Ray, who attends North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee, Florida, is listed as just over 6’1 and 186 pounds and is classified as a four-star recruit for ESPN, On3 and 247Sports’ composite rankings. Rivals has him listed as a three-star recruit as does 247Sports recruiting rankings.

247 Sports has Ray as the 78th best wide receiver and 95th best player in the state of Florida, a recruiting hotbed and a location the Mountaineers have had success dipping into in the past.

Beyond his top 3, Ray also received offers from Boston College and Cincinnati.
