The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Big 12 Conference have announced the 2027 Big 12 Baseball schedule.

The Mountaineers will play 10 series for a total of 30 games against Big 12 opponents, half at Kendrick Family Ballpark and half on the road. Seven of the series will take place Friday-Sunday while three will be Thursday-Saturday.

WVU opens Big 12 play on the road at Houston, March 19-21, before playing its Big 12 home-opening series on Easter weekend against reigning conference champion Kansas, March 25-27.

After a series at UCF, April 2-4, the Mountaineers are home for two straight weekends against Arizona State, April 9-11, and Baylor, April 16-18. It will be the first time the Sun Devils make the trip to Morgantown.

The Mountaineers then travel to Provo to take on BYU, April 22-24, for the fourth straight season before coming home to play Cincinnati, April 30-May 2.

From May 7-9, WVU will travel to Tucson for the fourth time in five years. However, this is the first time Arizona and WVU will battle it out as Big 12 foes in the Cactus State as previous trips were a non-conference series in 2023, NCAA Regionals in 2024, and a single non-conference game in 2026.

West Virginia plays its final home series of the season against Oklahoma State, May 14-16, after skipping the Cowboys in 2026. The Mountaineers close out the season on the road at TCU, May 20-22.

The Mountaineers will miss out on playing Kansas State and Texas Tech as well as Utah for the second straight season.

The Big 12 Baseball Tournament will return to Surprise, Arizona and will be played from May 25-29.
