Bruce Irvin Signed to Chicago Bears Active Roster
Former Mountaineer Bruce Irvin was signed from the Bears practice squad to their active roster as Cassius Marsh was sent to the injured reserve list on Friday afternoon.
After his time at West Virginia, Irvin was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He would spend five seasons with the team before jumping around from team to team from 2016-21.
In his career, Irvin has 215 solo tackles with 64 tackles for a loss, along with 52 sacks in his 10-year career.
