MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — NBA legend Charles Barkley had a front row seat for the West Virginia-Auburn game on Saturday afternoon at the WVU Coliseum.

Barkley is in town this weekend helping Bob Huggins as a guest for his annual fish fry on Friday night. Huggins asked Barkley at the Hall of Fame ceremony in September if he would help out. Barkley gladly accepted the offer.

Barkley played at Auburn from 1981-84 and has shown his support to the university for years now. Barkley spent 16 seasons in the NBA from 1984-00, with the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets. Barkley, the league’s 1992-93 MVP, averaged 22.1 points and 11.7 rebounds during his long career.
