In the final summer league game of 2021, former WVU guard Miles “Deuce” McBride finishes his summer campaign with 19 points against the Atlanta Hawks.

McBride finished the game with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. The Cincinnati, OH native also shot 5-of-8 from three. McBride added four assists, a rebound and a steal in 27 minutes.

McBride played in front of a similar face tonight.

The former Mountaineer scored all of his 19 points in the first half.

As McBride completes his first summer league experience, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 15.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

McBride will now prepare for his rookie season with the New York Knicks. The guard depth for the Knicks is very deep but McBride will have a shot at making an NBA roster in the 2021-22 season.
