Ethan Bock Hired Full-Time at WVSN

West Virginia Sports Now is excited to announce that Ethan Bock has been hired full-time to continue and expand his coverage of the West Virginia men’s basketball team.

Ethan has been with WVSN since August 2021, and has become a force on the WVU men’s basketball beat, breaking news and extensively covering recruiting. He will expand that coverage, including helping with WVU football, in his new role.

The expansion of our full-time staff will allow WVSN to continue to bring a year-round focus to WVU football and basketball coverage and we have other exciting expansion projects in the works, as well.

In addition to his work at WVSN, Ethan also contributes to The Portal Report, our national college basketball transfer coverage.

A Cincinnati native, we are so pleased that Ethan has found a home in Morgantown and with WVSN.

Hello everyone, Ethan is taking over now.

I’m very excited to announce that I will continue working at West Virginia Sports Now after graduation in a full-time position. 

First of all, thank you to the entire Sports Now family for the opportunity, especially Alan, Mike Vukovcan and Mike Asti. Blessed would be an understatement. 

This is big to me for multiple reasons. Now with more time on my hands and stepping away from the classroom, there’s more opportunity to create and grow. I have covered West Virginia’s men’s basketball program for this site for almost two years and I haven’t let my foot off the gas, regardless of the calendar month. Whether it’s bringing the game to your home, keeping you up to date with the latest portal or high school recruiting, there’s a lot of potential for this site to continue to improve. 

You can also find me contributing to The Portal Report, another promising brand under the Sports Now umbrella. We are under our second portal offseason at TPR and we’ve worked tremendously to cover the entire transfer portal on the basketball side.
