Former WVU WR Isaiah Esdale Commits to Rice

After spending almost two months in the NCAA transfer portal, former WVU wide receiver Isaiah Esdale announced on Wednesday that he is committing to Rice to continue his collegiate football career.

Esdale made the announcement on his Twitter account.

Esdale entered the transfer portal on Dec. 6. The Newark, DE, native spent four seasons at West Virginia, redshirting his freshman year. Esdale played 20 games in the three seasons he played for the Mountaineers, recording 56 receptions for 648 yards and two touchdowns.

Esdale will have one season of eligibility remaining.
