MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Football (2-2) begins conference play against the Texas Tech Red Raiders (3-1) at 3:30 p.m. EST this afternoon, but the game day festivities have been in full swing all week! Texas Tech enters Morgantown smarting after a 70-35 Longhorn stomping in Austin, while the Mountaineers, also 0-1 in conference, are ready to continue the momentum from a nail-biter 16-13 loss in Norman to the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 25.

WVU head coach Neal Brown is looking to flip the script on his 0-2 record against the Red Raiders, while also perpetuating a 7-0 consecutive home record on Homecoming Weekend. In the eleventh meeting of these two conference foes, what will it take for WVU’s two-quarterback system to succeed? Will turnovers, this offense’s Achilles Heel, be mitigated enough to not be the difference-maker in this game? Can the Mountaineers ward off third-year Texas Tech head coach Matt Wells’ WVU hat trick?
