Jared Kortsen Hired as WVU Basketball Video Coordinator
West Virginia men’s basketball announced on Tuesday that they’re hiring Jared Kortsen as the new video coordinator for the program. Kortsen has spent the past the past three seasons as a graduate manager.
Kortsen replaces Ryan McIntyre, who served the role since July 2019.
“Thank you for the opportunity,” Kortsen wrote on social media.

Before coming to West Virginia, Kortsen was an assistant coach at Urbana (OH) from 2017-19. The Plain City, Ohio native was the head coach of Team Ohio’s U18 squad from 2014-20.
Kortsen played college basketball at Akron as a walk-on. Kortsen earned his bachelor’s degree at Emerson College and a master’s degree in sport management and athletic coach education from WVU.
