JUCO Edge Announces Commitment to WVU Football During OV

The WVU football program added another transfer player looking to evaluate his game to their 2025 roster Sunday night. Marshon Oxley, a junior college edge rusher, announced his decision to become a Mountaineer with a simple “committed” hashtag and some images of his visit to West Virginia.
Oxley actually committed to WVU during an official visit over the weekend. Before that visit, WVU defensive line coach William Green took a trip to visit Oxley.

Prior to taking his game to the junior college level for more playing time, Oxley spent two seasons at Colorado State. In 2023, he posted 26 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks.
Oxley (6-foot-2, 225 pounds) then recorded 42 total tackles, 12 sacks and a forced fumble in 11 games for the Hutchison College Blue Dragons in 2024.
Oxley picked WVU over offers from schools like Appalachian State, an opportunity to rejoin Colorado State, Georgia State, New Mexico State, Washington State and Western Kentucky among others.
