List: WVU’s New Staff Offers Wave of High School Recruits

Since Darian DeVries has settled in West Virginia, his coaching staff has been recruiting the transfer portal hard for next season’s roster. The staff has also dove into high school recruiting, offering 2025, 2026 and 2027 kids over the last week.

Let’s take a look at which high school recruits WVU has offered recently.

2025:

Dezmon Briscoe | C | 6-foot-8 | 4⭐️

Jaylon Dean-Vines | G | 6-foot-3 | 3⭐️

Ryder Frost | F | 6-foot-6 | 3⭐️

Acaden Lewis | G | 6-foot-2 | 4⭐️

Lewis is a Washington, D.C. native, where Chester Frazier’s recruiting grounds are.

Eric Reibe | C | 7-foot-1 | 4⭐️

Reibe was originally offered by Josh Eilert’s staff back in February. Now, Reibe has an offer from DeVries’ staff.

2026:

Alijah Arenas | G | 6-foot-4 | 5⭐️

Alijah is the son of three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas.

Kobe Edwards | G | 6-foot

Parker Robinson | G | 6-foot-4

Anthony Thompson | F | 6-foot-7

2027:

Scottie Adkinson | G | 6-foot-2 | 5⭐️
