On Dec. 6, WVU returned Akok Akok (health) as the Georgetown transfer made his debut in the Backyard Brawl vs. Pitt. Now with Akok, three more players will join the Mountaineers.

This week has been a roller coaster ride for West Virginia, as well as other schools affected in the TRO ruling on Wednesday in Wheeling. Battle took the stand as a witness for about 40 minutes with two other student-athletes. In the end, the Judge issued a TRO to get rid of the NCAA’s transfer rules until Dec. 27. The NCAA put out a guidance on Thursday that players could lose their eligibility during the TRO period if the case is reversed.

West Virginia and UMass will tipoff at 6:30 p.m. in Springfield, Mass. on Saturday.
