Look: West Virginia’s Updated 2022-23 Basketball Roster

On Thursday afternoon, West Virginia men’s basketball announced the enrollment of Emmitt Matthews Jr., which brings the scholarship total to 13 players for the 2022-23 season.

Here’s the up-to-date roster for the Mountaineers. A lot of new names. This roster is highlighted by the transfer portal additions in Matthews, Erik Stevenson, Tre Mitchell and Joe Toussaint. WVU head coach Bob Huggins and his coaching staff recruited three of the top Junior College players in the country. West Virginia returns five players from last season.

WVU signee Josiah Davis has not arrived on campus. With 13 scholarship players currently, it’s unknown what Davis will do next.
