A night game in Morgantown can be a cool atmosphere, and no matter how many the West Virginia team has each season, each can feel special. But there are some thing WVU fans planning to attend next Thursday night’s battle with Baylor need to know.

The game has been labeled a “Stripe the Stadium” night. Any fan sitting in even-numbered sections (Sec. 102, 104, 202, 204, etc.), Touchdown Terrace and the designated student section in the upper level are encouraged to wear gold to the game. Conversely, fans sitting in odd-numbered sections (Sec. 101, 103, 201, 203, etc.) and those in the lower level student section are asked to wear blue to the game. An example of what a “Stripe the Stadium” game looks like can be found in the linked story below.

As far as getting to a game expected to be a packed house, cars will not be admitted to parking areas until 5 p.m. on Thursday. This is except for the Silver Lot, which opens at 7 a.m. In terms of tailgating, no tailgating is allowed to take place until 1 p.m. on game day with the only exceptions of the Silver, Coliseum and Light Blue Auxiliary lots.

And if you are unable to be in attendance, the game will be televised nationally on FS1. Kickoff for a pivotal Big 12 matchup between WVU and Baylor is scheduled for 7 pm EST.
