A premiere player in the Big 12 is facing legal trouble, according to reports circulating Monday night. Oklahoma State star running back Ollie Gordon II was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of DUI, per News On 6, a KOTV-TV affiliate in Tulsa, Okla.

According to the report, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Gordon was pulled over on Interstate 35, which is south of Oklahoma City. A trooper on the scene says Gordon was going 82 in a area with a 65 speed limit while also swerving through traffic.

In addition to speeding, the probable cause affidavit states the trooper who pulled Gordon over saw a half-full bottle of vodka and half-full bottle of tequila present in his vehicle.

Ollie Gordon is coming off a 2023 season in which he rushed for 1,732 yards and scored 21 touchdowns while averaging 6.1 yards per carry. Gordon’s best performance came at the hands of West Virginia, racking up 282 yards on 29 carries with four touchdowns in a 48-34 comeback win over the Mountaineers.
